In one of my previous posts I talked about going for a walk and having a conversation with God. However, having a conversation with God may seem like a complex task.
When we think about having a conversation with God, we often would like to actually hear Him utter words, and we get frustrated every time we realise that God’s voice doesn’t work that way. God is a silent, non-invasive, but ever-present companion. Hearing His voice it a little tricky, it takes a little bit of skill and practice, but if we make time for Him and give Him a chance, He will find the most effective way to make Himself heard.
Often all it takes is just a few moments of silence every day, and like I have mentioned before, this can easily be done while: taking a walk, sipping a cup of coffee, driving to or from your work place etc. When you think about it, it really doesn’t take that much effort to make time for God.
Try it out while enjoying your next cuppa and let us know how it goes!
