'For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God' (2 Corinthians 1:20).
In today's song choice for #MusicMonday, the song says that all God's promises are 'Yes' and 'Amen' and it is so true, because He will never let us down. In fact through Christ's death and resurrection, God is promising us His faithfulness, His hand to guide us, as He did with Jesus.. His faithfulness is constant, He is always there for us even if we are distant ourselves and if we follow Him we do not need to lose hope. He will lead us in the right paths and welcome us with open arms every time. Look up Psalm 145 9:20
His promises are therefore always a 'Yes' and 'Amen' because He will not let us down. As we can see in the Bible, in how He was faithful with Israelites, bringing His people out of slavery and giving providing for them throughout.
Sometimes we might take certain things forgranted or be so caught up in our busyness that we don't realise how God is working in our life. It helps to spend some time to look back on our experiences, so we can be reminded of, and be graetful for, the moments when God was faithful to us personally or to people close to us.
Also, sharing about these moments can give others hope and help others realise that though some times are tough, it's ok, God is with you and will help you through it!
